Remote Management and Diagnostics Solution for Field Services

OpsLogic® FieldView provides a new level of remote network service assurance and subscriber support for field services technicians. It streamlines the efficiency of field technicians by obtaining information for an individual subscriber, viewing the subscriber’s devices and supporting devices through a web-based GUI, correlating data throughout the network, diagnosing failures, and resolving various customer concerns in real time.

It also allows field technicians to view KPIs via their handheld devices and creates a permanent Subscriber Certificate of Record “SCORE Card™” that produces an auditable record of installations and repairs. The SCORE Card is used to verify day-after installation status and records installer success rates.

The result is a solution that delivers real-time, multi-system data access across your network infrastructure for an individual subscriber, using any unique customer identifier in a simple, intuitive user interface.

OpsLogic FieldView lets your team:

  • Retrieve the customer’s account, billing, and provisioning information using a phone number, MAC address, IP address, FQDN, subscriber name, or account number.
  • View logically arranged statistics regarding network configuration, system status, and network performance data along with color coded diagnostic information.
  • Query multiple systems such as CMTSs, eMTAs, and cable modems to verify and validate device status and configuration information, including online status, IP address, power levels, and bandwidth settings.
  • Create a Subscriber Certificate of Record (SCORE) card to permanently store a snapshot of device values which can be used to certify successful maintenance assignments.
  • Test device and line problems related to the customer’s account using tools such as ping, traceroute, cable modem reset, MTA/line communications test, and line reset.
  • Access on-demand, correlated reports regarding modems on the same node as the customer’s to see whether an outage is isolated to the individual customer or affecting the entire node.
  • View, test, and modify settings for residential gateways and connected home networking devices.
